The 7-day “PURA VIDA” tour will allow you to discover the true meaning of the expression Pura Vida by enjoying breathtaking landscapes and fauna and flora unique in the world in a very warm Latin atmosphere.
On the first day, we will leave San Jose and walk along with the Irazú and Turrialba volcanoes, heading south along the famous Cerro de la Muerte road, which rises to an altitude of more than 3500 meters. We will cross the Tarcoles crocodile bridge and take the ferry to the Nicoya peninsula.
The two-day off-road session consists of breathtaking views of the Pacific, beaches, and mountain landscapes surrounded by an abundance of animals and exotic vegetation. Then we will take the paved road back to Lake Arenal where we will stop at the superb Bagaces waterfalls and the natural hot springs of the Arenal volcano for total relaxation. On the last day, we will return to San Jose via the San Ramon pass with unforgettable memories. This tour is 70% on the road and 30% off-road.
