Offroad Tour 5 days
Five days in the deep south, on dirt wherever possible: the Cerro de la Muerte pass, the coffee farms of Coto Brus, the Osa peninsula, then back over the tracks of Puriscal. 797 km.
The deep south, on dirt
A tour for dirt lovers: tracks and enduro through rainforest, mountains, waterfalls and national parks, surrounded by wildlife everywhere you look. Same stops as the South Tour, but linked by dirt wherever possible: 797 km instead of 701, for the same number of nights. Over the Cerro de la Muerte at 3 335 m, on to San Vito and its coffee farms a stone's throw from Panama, across the Osa peninsula, bikes loaded onto the barge across the río Sierpe to reach the Pacific coast, and home over the tracks of Puriscal, one last off-road before the shop.
The route at a glance
The real route takes shape in front of you, leg after leg. Click a number to see it in photos.
Real route: 797 km and about 17 h of riding spread over 5 days. The detailed roadbook (viewpoints, stops and good addresses) is handed to you at the start.
Day-by-day itinerary
Legs read off the outfitter's own route: towns crossed, distances and time in the saddle. Indicative route, adaptable to the weather, your level and what you feel like (private tours). Some days are deliberately short: Rincón de Osa (80 km) and Ojochal (85 km). You arrive early because there is something to see there.
