Nicaragua Tour 8 days
Eight days in the land of volcanoes and great lakes: the island of Ometepe, colonial Granada and León, the Pacific coast and San Juan del Sur, then a last night in the cloud forest of Monteverde. A fully guided cross-border tour, formalities included.
The real Nicaragua, volcanoes and lakes
North for a guided tour into the heart of the “land of fire”. Up through Guanacaste and the Rincón de la Vieja park, across the border at Peñas Blancas, then the volcanic island of Ometepe sitting on Lake Nicaragua. Granada and its colonial fronts, León, the Pacific coast at Montelimar and San Juan del Sur. The way home is split in two for the border crossing, with a night in Monteverde. Guide-mechanic, meals, hotels and border formalities all taken care of. 1,352 km.
