The bike

The GS built for dirt

She is the off-road sister of the F 700 and F 750: the same 798 cc twin, but 85 hp, a 21-inch front wheel and a ground clearance that changes everything the moment you leave the tarmac. The 880 mm seat asks for the legs to go with it: that's the price of the clearance. In exchange, she goes through where the other GS start picking their line: the dirt roads of Puriscal, the fords of the Osa peninsula, the tracks of Monteverde after the rain. On the road she stays a comfortable tourer, with sixteen litres that cover the day with room to spare.
