The bike

The all-terrain bike that doesn't back down

The MT-X is the off-road version of the 800 MT: a 21-inch front wheel, a 48 mm inverted fork, 230 mm of travel front and rear and 240 mm of ground clearance: enough to get through where a road bike grounds its sump. The 799 cc parallel twin makes 91 horsepower, watched over by an IMU, cornering ABS and traction control, all switchable. The 22.5-litre tank covers a full day of dirt without looking for a petrol station.
